Pay Per Click (PPC) Reporting: If a customer chooses not to participate in the MarketWatch Program, Acorn will offer to produce a minimal PPC report on a monthly basis for a lesser cost than subscribing to the full MarketWatch Program. This is a basic report, only. These minimal reports do not include any suggestions or recommendations. They only provide the exact information from the PPC reporting accounts. Phone and E-mail support regarding questions about the PPC report is billable in addition to the report cost. After reviewing the report, the customer may request that Acorn make changes to the account, or they may choose to make their own changes based on the report. Any work involved to make changes to a customer’s PPC account is billable.
Third-Party Vendor Relationships: Acorn uses every effort to work in our clients' best interest when working with any third-party product vendor, including but not limited to Google, Overture, YMLP, SnippetMaster, FastMail, etc. We are committed to responding to your requests in a timely manner (within 72 business hours) to initiate actions on any given program involving a third-party product vendor, but we cannot guarantee how or when a third-party product vendor will adhere to our directives.
In the event we are processing a request from you to initiate or deactivate any third-party vendor services, including but not limited to a request to deactivate or pause any terms or campaigns within Google and/or Overture, and those deactivation/pause directives are not affected after we have taken the necessary steps known to us, you as the Acorn client remain financially responsible to the third-party account relationship, and for any additional Acorn time required to re-contact the third-party vendor for follow-up and additional directives until such time as the directive has been fulfilled by the third-party vendor.
Search Engine Friendly Marketing (SEM): Acorn is unable to guarantee organic placement in any search engine but has proven success with the majority of its SEM customer base. Along with completing the Search Engine Starter Kit as accurately as possible, it is important to understand that to achieve the highest search engine optimization placement possible, your Web site text will be modified to support the appropriate search terms chosen for each page, and the text (including its internal links) will look different upon completion of the technical editing. Customers are welcome to be involved as much or as little as they choose during the marketing process. All Acorn incurred time applied during this process is billable. Included as part of making a Web site search engine friendly, a varying degree of manual major search engine and travel site submissions will occur. Pricing and estimates will be provided as part of the bid.
Search Engine Placement Review: When a customer has questions, inquiries, or requests that Acorn review their placement in the various search engines, time incurred to investigate the customer’s placement is billable. Findings, recommendations, and an estimate to implement those recommendations, whether written or verbal, will be provided.
Link Popularity: Search engine placement relies heavily on having a site that is considered popular by the major search engines. This is an ongoing effort that the customer can choose to monitor on their own, or they may choose to have Acorn do the work on their behalf. Each Link Popularity effort will be estimated and approved before implementation. Search engines continually update their algorithms. Acorn is not responsible for guaranteeing links secured will be counted now or in the future by any of the major search engines.
