Hourly Billing Rate Changes
As of today, April 1, 2011 Acorn Internet Services, Inc. is raising billable hourly rates by $10 an hour across the board.
The last time we increased hourly rates was at the end of 2005.
This hourly adjustment applies to all hourly rates in all of our departments, including but not limited to:
- Support
- Pre-Development
- Minor Development
- Development
- Professional Client Services
- Marketing Services
Existing Customer Requests
Any requested work that is currently in progress on or before 12:01 am on April 1st, 2011 will be billed at the old billing rates.
Any new work requested after 12:01 am on April 1st, 2011 will be billed at the new billing rates.

We are highly conscious of our clients’ budgets and we understand the challenges of running a business. During the past few years of economic struggle, we have kept our rates consistent with those at the end of 2005. We did this to assist our clients throughout this difficult time. We have given much consideration to the amount of this adjustment, deciding on a $10 an hour increase. Although a minor adjustment, it is one that continues to keep our costs below other providers in our industry.

Submitting Support Requests
to Acorn IS is easy!
 If you have a minor development task such as a photo replacement or a text change, or any other update to your site, you may submit it as a Support Request. Most small changes are typically completed by our Support Manager in 2 business days or less!

FREE Conversion from Urchin to Google Analytics Ending May 1, 2011
We have decided on the Cut-Off Date for Free Google Analtyics Conversions for Existing Hosting Clients.

May 1st, 2011 is our Cut-Off for Free Urchin to Google Analtyics Conversions. Existing Urchin statistics will no longer be supported beginning January 1, 2012.
If you host with Acorn IS and have not responded to pattycurtis@acorn-is.com regarding your Google Analytics conversion by the May 1, 2011 there will be a 2-3 hour charge at $75 an hour to do the conversion.
